Today’s news bits that I can’t be bothered to comment on separately (a testament to my own desire to get to work on my novel, not to their worthiness for comment.)

- Something called the Library Publishing Directory for 2020 is now online (I have no idea if this is important, but I’m always trying to ingratiate myself to sexy librarians);
- Quill & Quire is seeking survey input from people in the Canadian publishing workplace;
- On Anonymous in publishing (in my day working at Coles as a teenager, Anonymous was where the guys with neck beards went … top left hand corner of the first A frame);
- Simon Armitage thinks poetry is the most democratic art form;
- CBC recommends 47 works of upcoming Canadian fiction from the spring lists…. some names I know here;
- The bilingual brain is different, better.
