As I isolate and wait for my Covid test, I am mostly going to slug around today and not do anything productive. So don’t expect much.

- CBC’s best fiction of the year includes some Bookninja favs;
- Roald Dahl’s family apologizes for his anti-semitism;
- Milan Kundera will donate his archive to his hometown library (I’m not sure my hometown HAS a library, but I am sure my collected works would be declined anyway for lack of illustrations of farming equipment);
- This book sounds harrowing after only reading a general description;
- Lucky Glück to publish new poetry in 2021;
- How dating during the pandemic is like a Jane Austen novel;
- More fun: literary tree ornaments;
- 30 is a precipice? Oh, my sweet summer child… If that’s true, then I am standing on a rail-less suborbital platform over a planet made of lava;
- 400 years? What’s done is Donne;
- Libraries will mourn the loss of BookExpo;
- Just what I needed: someone to tell me all of this nonsense I do online is fine;
